Windermere Music Academy is now introducing our new Crescendo Out of School Care program and we will provide this service in Fall 2020. Our program is focusing on music and art, which helps children to activate their senses, cultivate creative critical thinking and pursue their passions. Our philosophy is to provide safe and engaging childcare which encourages creativity and self-expression, develops social connections and responsibility, and celebrates diversity and sharing interests.

About our programming:

Grades 1-6 Before & Afterschool Care, Monday to Friday  

Hours of Operation: 7:00 AM – 5:55 PM including PD Days, Teacher’s Convention, Spring Break. 

​

We strive to facilitate child-guided programming, where children’s interests and life events are integrated as much as possible in order for activities to be engaging and mentally stimulating. 

 

Our center is uniquely equipped to incorporate outstanding music and dance programming. Experienced professional music and dance instructors are able to be brought in on a regular basis to teach classes specifically for young children

On occasion, our center will bring in special guests from the greater community and the children will be brought on excursions, providing the children with diversity in programming and a greater sense of community.

 

Morning and afternoon snacks will be provided; dietary concerns, allergies and food safety are taken very seriously. Our snack menu aims to be nutritious and varied to develop healthy eating habits. 

Children from Constable Daniel Woodall School and St. John XXIII Edmonton Catholic School are escorted to and from school.
