Music for Young Children® is designed and written by an early-childhood specialist with specific qualifications not only in music education, but learning styles and learning disabilities, our method speaks directly to our students with age-appropriate activities to help develop not only their ability to play and read music, but also cognitive, physical and social skills.

What to Expect:
Hands-on Fun: Your child will explore rhythm and key recognition with MYC’s adorable keyboard ‘critters,’ making learning an adventure!
Music Exploration: Start with off-the-staff reading to understand music patterns and advance to reading on treble and bass clefs.
Master the Grand Staff: Learn to navigate the grand staff with confidence—an essential skill for every budding pianist!
Rhythm and Dynamics: Develop a great ear for dynamics (loud and soft sounds) and learn to write rhythmic patterns using creative tools.
Two Hands in Harmony: Build coordination between both hands while playing scales in C major, a minor, and G major, complete with harmonizing bridge chords.
This program lays a solid musical foundation with fun, engaging activities, ensuring your child develops both confidence and skills on the piano!
